ENTRY LEVEL CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

The entry level engineer will work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer to prepare technical specifications and calculations; create detailed civil/environmental designs, and prepare CAD drawings and other project documentation.


Typical responsibility of this position are design and construction support for engineers including new buildings, industrial developments, site development, municipal infrastructure. These responsibilities will be include calculations, details and design evaluations, knowledge of building codes and design codes. The position will assist project manager with development of site construction, research, and site inspections. 


The candidate should be able to perform with general supervision from the principal engineer and complete assigned work within schedule and have a strong attention to fine detail.


Candidate's qualifications shall include: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in technical training, and proficient with AutoCad, and self-motivated. Experience with OSHA regulations is a plus. Candidate must have acceptable English writing and communication skills., valid U.S driver license.

We are looking for an accountable project engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review engineering deliverable and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a project engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
  • Advanced MS Office skills

PROJECT MANAGER

Asphalt Paver

This position is responsible for controlling the material that is taken into the paver and the depths of the material that is distributed through the machine and removes asphalt material that may be sticking to conveyors, augers, and other parts of paver. Qualified candidates must have a thorough understanding of all aspect of paving industry including preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving. Requires at least 1-3 years of experience operating a paving machine.

Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean, maintain and secure all equipment as directed by legislation, policies, and procedures. 


The Heavy Equipment Operator must deal with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner. This includes receiving complaints about schedules and levels and quality of service. The Heavy Equipment Operator must make note of and report on any such complaints and respond in a courteous and respectful manner. 


Responsibilities:

  • Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
  • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
  • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
  • Participate in routine maintenance
  • Practice workplace Safety 
  • Maintain inventory
